Amazon Angels: Julie Ross & April Shular of the University of Longwood.
THE AMAZON PINK DOLPHIN’S VOICE
SELVA-Vida Sin Fronteras:23/12/2013
In-between December 12th-18th, SELVA-Vida Sin Fronteras successfully concluded the fluvial medical clinics for the year 2013.
We wish to sincerely thank Julie Ross and April Shular of the University of Longwood, for their professionalism and dedication to the Amazon Nationalities and the members of the Andean Commune, San Francisco de la Tola Grande.
In the words of the daughter of the late Siona Shaman and Governor Vitoriano “ April and Julie are Angels and the final request made by my father has become a reality. ” A week before Vitoriano died, his last words to us were:
“I will not be here much longer, I am getting tired. But we must think of the children. There are only two Shamans left; you have to help protecting my children. Even when I am gone, I will be here in spirit, and support you in doing so. Do not forget the children.”
Thanks to the University of Longwood and APN’s David Bergan, Governor Vitoriano can rest in peace.
